Heather Crowe
Heather Crowe graduated from the University of Alberta with
a Degree in Recreation & Leisure Studies - Special Populations
stream. She has volunteered and worked in the field of Recreation
Therapy for 7 years with children, youth and adults with disabilities,
as well as with seniors who have dementia. Heather has also
had experience providing active living opportunities to children
with disabilities overseas through a program called "Play
Around the World". Heather is currently working for the
city of Edmonton as the Special Needs Recreation Liaison,
and is the Vice Chair for ATRA North Chapter as well as a
Co-Chair for the AB Committee of the ALACD.
