Laura Bulk

Laura is a student from Victoria BC who is currently heading towards completing her Bachelor's degree in Human Services, and her Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. Laura has volunteered and worked in various settings: the Extended Care Unit at Saanich Peninsula Hospital, the ALACD Youth Exchange, the Disability Resource Center at Camosun College, and the Canadian National Institute for the Blind. Throughout her life, Laura has developed a passion for advocacy for persons with disabilities, which is what brought her to the All Abilities Welcome program. As a person with a visual impairment, Laura personally understands some of the challenges and barriers faced by persons with disabilities; however, she also demonstrates that these challenges can be overcome.
