Laura is an advocate for inclusion in both life and physical activity. Her high school and university experiences were instrumental in helping her recognize her passion for creating sporting opportunities where they are otherwise unavailable.
A graduate of McMaster University, Laura received her degree in Kinesiology and is currently working towards a Certificate in Project Management with Algonquin College. She is currently employed as the Development Programs and Member Relations Coordinator with the Canadian Paralympic Committee. She has experience with McMaster Athletics and Recreation, Motivate Canada's ACTIVATE program and volunteers with the Sledge Hockey of Eastern Ontario organization.
Like any Canadian, her favourite sport is hockey and she can usually be found at the dog park with her 2 pups.
