Pete Andrews was born in England and moved to Canada when he was 3 years old. He grew up in Prince Albert and attended high school in Lethbridge. As a sports fanatic, Pete decided to attend the University of Saskatchewan, where he completed a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education in 1988, before obtaining his Bachelor of Education in 1994 from Minot State University. Pete sustained a spinal injury following a motorcycle accident in 1999. He is currently a member of the National Adaptive Waterski Team and is employed as an Exercise Therapist at the FIT for Active Living Program at City Hospital in Saskatoon. Fit for Active Living is a program which works with persons who have been involved in a motor vehicle collision, assisting them in improving their function and overall well being.
